Thank you Strava and New Balance!! #StravaBackHalfChallange

I'm going to take my new shoes for a spin today at lunch time!
New Balance 860v7

I received theses shoes for free because I entered the Strava Back Half challenge.  The challenge was to run a negative split marathon.  I did so, at Rock n Roll Las Vegas in November of 2016.

I was unable to wear these shoes last month because I was foolish and I jumped back into aggressive running (hill climbing) and I injured a tendon in foot.

I am slowly easing my way back into running.  I will try to give these shoes an honest review soon, and I also want to talk about other shoes in my next post. :)

I'm glad that December of 2016 has come to an end and I am ready to face 2017.

  1. YAY for free shoes! That is so awesome! Since you're a Strava user, I had a question for you - can you track shoe mileage on Strava? I use Dailymile now, and it lets you add "gear" like shoes to keep up with miles on your shoes. I'm interested in Strava, but I really like that feature.

    1. I never used daily mile. But, I really love Strava. They have the basic and premium subscription, and I used the basic app for six months and then I switched to the Premium subscription ($6 a month). I love how it keeps track of everything! Shoe mileage, Elevation, and there are little incentives (badges to earn, course records to achieve) But, it can get out of hand when you belong to a group and you become obsessed with being on the leader boards But, yeah I'd say I love Strava
